Private screening — Hard Luck Man in Mt Gravatt
Notes from our recent closed screening of the debut short, with a warm reception from the room.
We hosted a closed screening of Hard Luck Man in Mt Gravatt, bringing cast, crew, and friends into the cinema to see the film finished on a proper screen. For our first ever screening of a short film, the reception was incredible. With nearly 60 people in attendance, the evening was a surreal experience for Bodi and myself.
It was certainly interesting to see where people laughed and gasped, and made us feel a hell of a lot more confident in our ability to tell stories. What was most suprising for me was the questions regarding what comes next, and whether we would return to these characters or this world any time soon.
I guess time will just have to tell...
